OUR ORIGINS

Cobblestone Creek Farm is a third generation farm on the outskirts of Syracuse. Once a dairy and large-scale grain farm, Steve and Diane Eggert have transitioned the farm back to its origins of raising vegetables for direct consumer sales.

ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND

Using environmentally sound practices that protect nearby water and wildlife, and protect the rich fertile soils of the farm, Steve and Diane raise a bountiful variety of high quality, flavorful vegetables and herbs.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

All of the produce grown by Cobblestone Creek Farm is sold direct to the public. We sell at a farmers market, through a Community Supported Agriculture program and, NEW in 2018, we sell right at the farm at our outdoor farm stand. We attend the Farmers market in Hamilton, NY each Saturday from the beginning of May through October. Our stand is conveniently located along the sidewalk in the Village Green, directly across from the Post Office on Route 12.

Our farm on Collamer Road outside of East Syracuse is now home to our outdoor farm stand. We set up farmers market style under a party tent in the farm yard. We are open to the public Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Sorry, we close on Sunday to catch up on our work. All produce sold in the farm stand is grown on our own farm. So if we are harvesting, it will be on the stand for sale.

Finally, we offer our produce through a Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA). CSA members receive a weekly box of vegetables, grown and harvested fresh each day. Each weekly share can be picked up direct at the farm, where you can see where your food is produced, meet the family and develop your own connection to the foods on your dinner table.

WHAT’S IN A CSA SHARE

Each week’s share of food will feature a variety of Cobblestone Creek Farms’ finest vegetables. A family share will feed a family of four. Small family shares can be purchased for those with smaller families or young children. Individual shares are available for single households.  Weekly or biweekly shares of eggs from our own cage free hens are also available on a limited basis

Shares start in mid June and continue until early November. You can choose the Tuesday or Thursday pick-up. The number of shares available is limited. Be sure to send in your reservation early to reserve your share of Cobblestone Creek Farm bounty. You can find a registration form to sign up for your share here.
