Cobblestone Creek Farm is a third generation farm on the outskirts of Syracuse. Once a dairy and large-scale grain farm, Steve and Diane Eggert have transitioned the farm back to its origins of raising vegetables for direct consumer sales.
Using environmentally sound practices that protect nearby water and wildlife, and protect the rich fertile soils of the farm, Steve and Diane raise a bountiful variety of high quality, flavorful vegetables and herbs that are offered at the farmers markets in Hamilton, NY.
YOUR SHARE IN OUR FARM
Starting in 2010, Cobblestone Creek Farm began offering their farm’s bounty through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares, as well. CSA members receive a weekly box of vegetables, grown and harvested fresh each day. Each weekly share can be picked up direct at the farm, where you can see where your food is produced, meet the family and develop your own connection to the foods on your dinner table.
WHAT’S IN A CSA SHARE
Each week’s share of food will feature a variety of Cobblestone Creek Farms’ finest vegetables. A family share will feed a family of four. Small family shares can be purchased for those with smaller families or young children. Individual shares are available for single households. Weekly or biweekly shares of eggs from our own cage free hens are also available on a limited basis
Shares start in mid June and continue until early November. You can choose the Tuesday or Thursday pick-up. The number of shares available is limited. Be sure to send in your reservation early to reserve your share of Cobblestone Creek Farm bounty. You can find a registration form to sign up for your share here.
